Upon subtracting the total value of all your assets on an estate from thou liabilities, the result is your net worth to determine the federal estate tax.

Deductions that my lower the value of the estate are expenses relating to the maintenance of property, prior to the destitution of the heirs. Whereby, by a fire hazard causing severe damage to the property belonging of an estate can be eliminated by having the dryer clean of lint. The lint upon building up will cause a fire causing property damage causing the value of our estate to decease in value from the total assets available, to pass onto your heirs.
