So you've got your iPhone 4, and have found a way to recycle your cell phone. What's next?

Check out the Greening Your Family app. The application gives users information about what food, personal care, and cleaning products have the least harmful chemicals. It recommends particular brands and items, and also has suggestions for what ingredients to avoid. You can create a "favorites" list for quick shopping.

The $3 app also features a "Safe Guide to Plastics" for foods, and a guide to air-purifying houseplants.

Of course, the greenest product is the one that you don't buy in the first place, but if you do want to look for eco-friendly cleaners, this seems like a great place to start. And if you're really thinking about your eco-footprint, you'd also want to think about whether your food is local and/or sustainable. Check out the (free!) Seafood Watch app, put out by the Monteray Bay Aquarium.
